This assignment evaluates architectural design projects through a comprehensive set of criteria, demonstrating proficiency in various aspects. The Continuity & Clarity of design thinking is maintained by consistent logic from initial biotype investigation to final design, ensuring a thorough approach to materiality, structure, and form. Computational Thinking is highlighted through engagement with digital tools and methods, achieving a well-structured digital workflow beyond standard application. Contextual Coherency is demonstrated by uniting multiple interrelated logics in response to context and disruptions, showcasing a high understanding of architectural responses. Architectural Coherency is evident in the practical response to site, clients, and socio-cultural factors, with a strong relationship between form and function. Communication & Representation is marked by high-quality, cohesive presentation materials that convey a clear design method and outcome. The project also involved scripting multiple Grasshopper scripts to adapt to the site and mitigate the threat of a cyclone. Additionally, Putakawai leaves were used as the natural form, experimenting with bleaching and dyeing to restore some natural life to the leaves. This holistic evaluation framework ensures a thorough assessment of both technical and conceptual dimensions.
