This assignment evaluates architectural design projects through comprehensive criteria, demonstrating proficiency in various aspects. It showcases clarity and understanding in Biotype & Software Engagement, using Maya and codification techniques to explore site parameters thoroughly. The Consideration of Site involved deep investigation into site dynamics, ensuring comprehensive analysis. System Coherency integrated the external logic of the site with the internal logic of the biotype system, using computational functions to capture relationships of interaction, evolution, and transformation. Workflow & Communication exhibited clarity and coherence throughout the design process, with well-structured graphical, textual, and oral descriptions. Exploration & Novelty highlighted significant design experimentation, creatively applying computational processes beyond standard applications. Further Thinking, although optional, was noted for its high standard, considering various applications of the design logic in different architectural contexts. Additionally, the project used Putakawai leaves as the natural form, experimenting with bleaching and dyeing to restore some natural life to the leaves. This holistic evaluation framework ensured a thorough assessment of both technical and conceptual dimensions.
